Mr. Burke currently serves as a principal at Trinity and its affiliated companies in a variety of roles and responsibilities on full time and active basis. He brings extensive entrepreneurial experience to Trinity, with particular depth in analytics, strategy, and Information Technology.
Mr. Burke was a founder and CEO of Diamond Head Software, a leading supplier of document imaging software products, from 1993 to February 2000. Mr. Burke and his partners sold the firm in 2000 to a NASDAQ listed firm, Hummingbird Communications.
Prior to that, Mr. Burke was president of Condotech, Inc. of Honolulu, where he was a member of senior management from 1982 to 1992. Mr. Burke and his partners grew the firm’s revenues six-fold between 1982 and 1992, and when they sold it in 1992 it had become one of the largest firms in the United States in its market category, condominium management.
Mr. Burke also served as a strategic consultant for three years at the Strategic Planning Institute in Cambridge, MA. The company specialized in resource allocation among portfolio holdings for large, diversified corporations. Clients included companies like General Electric, Westinghouse, and John Deere.
Mr. Burke was awarded a BA from Harvard College, cum laude, in 1973, and an MBA from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Business in 1978.
