Manoj Nigam

Manoj is an Entrepreneur and an Executive Management Professional with more than 20 years of Management Experience having held several senior level positions. He started his career at Mitsubishi Motors Corp in India. He was a CIO and VP and a part owner at Advanced Automation Inc, a $50MM, 250 employee custom industrial automation products company in Greenville, SC, which was sold in 1998 to Doerfer Engineering Group. Manoj started as a VP of Integration Services at Home Point a Dot Com company in 1999, helped raise $72MM and designed a blue print for the company for B2B eCommerce in the Furniture Industry.  After HomePoint, he founded Exim Technologies LLC, a B2B EDI transactions management company which merged with MicroD Inc. in 2003.  Currently he runs MicroD as the President and CEO. MicroD provides desktop and web applications in the Home Furnishings Industry for Product Presentations, Electronic Product Catalogs, B2C eCommerce and B2B commerce for premium brands such as Ethan Allen, Bassett, La-Z-Boy, Drexel Heritage and more.  MicroD has close to 50 employees and has offices in Charlotte and Hickory, NC as well as in Czech Republic and in India.

Manoj graduated from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India with a BE (Hons) Degree in Engineering in 1983 and a MS Degree in Automation and Robotics from Clemson University, Clemson, SC, USA in 1987. I also earned an MBA Degree from Clemson University in 1999. Manoj is an active member of the Vistage, an International CEO organization involved in supporting small to medium size businesses and is also involved in many community activities such as HOA and India Association of Charlotte.
