November 14, 2009:
Dan Meader and Aaron Cother attended The National Due Diligence Conference in Orlando, FL where we introduced the American Manufacturing Fund to a select group of Broker-Dealers. The American Manufacturing fund is a structured debt fund for middle market manufacturing companies with domestic operations and is to be launched Q1 of 2010.

Chandra and Advisory Partner, Rob Jones, attended the Las Vegas Furniture Market and met with several companies to discuss growth capital needs in the furniture industry, which has a large number of companies struggling to remain independent.

The CFA Institute is a not for profit organization committed to investment research and education and has over 100,000 members and 275,000 candidates worldwide. May 13-14, 2009:

Chandra attended the Hospitality and Design Expo and Conference. HD Expo features a show floor with more than 1,200 exhibitors covering an array of manufacturers and artisans of hospitality products and services.

February 11-17, 2009:

In his capacity as a Board of Governor for the CFA Institute, Meader attended the winter Board meeting for the CFA Institute in Dubai. While in the UAE, Meader had the opportunity to meet with local investment managers to discuss trends in the global capital markets and investment management business.

 
February 9-10, 2009:
Las Vegas Furniture Market-Chandra and Advisory Partner, Rob Jones, met with several companies to discuss growth capital needs in the furniture industry, which has a large number of companies struggling to remain independent.
 
January 15-19, 2009:

Meader was invited to attend a meeting of the CFA Institute volunteer society leaders to discuss current trends in the investment industry. Meader led a breakout session on how to deliver value to CFA Institute members at the local society level.

 
December 16-17, 2008:

Chandra and Meader along with Advisory Partner, Rob Jones traveled to North Carolina to visit several manufacturing companies in the furniture industry where Trinity is actively pursuing investment opportunities. Meader also visited a portfolio company, Wayne Trademark a specialty printing and packaging company, where he is Chairman of the Board.

Trinity provided financial advisory services to Electronic Label Technologies, Inc. of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and its shareholders in the sale of the business to Vestom, Inc. November 12-14, 2008:
Meader was invited to present an update of the CFA Institute and present CFA Charters to new CFA charterholders on behalf of the CFA Philadelphia society. The CFA Philadelphia society is a member society of the CFA Institute and has over 1800 members.
 
November 3-4, 2008:

Meader and Chandra visited Wayne Trademark’s new manufacturing facility located in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Wayne Trademark is a leading apparel industry printing and packaging company and opened the plant at the request of a number of its customers to provide printing and packaging goods to apparel manufacturing facilities located in Central America. The plant has the manufacturing capabilities to provide all types of flexographic printing to its customers.

 
October 21-22, 2008:

Meader and Chandra attended the semi-annual Highpoint Furniture Market in North Carolina which is the premier show for manufacturers and importers to show their products to retailers and other channel partners. Meader and Chandra were able to meet with a variety of companies as they look for investment opportunities in the furniture space in addition to attending the market party for American Leather, Inc., where Chandra serves as co-founder and vice-chairman.

 
October 9-12, 2008:

Chandra attended the World-wide Charter Member Retreat for TIE, The Indus Entrepreneurs, which was held in San Antonio Texas. Charter Members, the inner circle for accomplished entrepreneurs and business leaders within TIE, spent the weekend networking with members representing local chapters from many countries in addition to attending sessions on topics of interest to the members.

 
October 1-4, 2008:

Meader attended the CFA Institute Annual Society Leaders meeting in Washington DC in conjunction with his attendance at the CFA Institute Board of Governors’ meeting. While at the meeting, Meader led discussions with society leaders and CFA Institute staff regarding the opportunity for improved partnership between the CFA Institute and its 135 member societies located around the world.

 
September 9, 2008:
Meader and TAG associate Aaron Cother attended the bi-annual Label Expo trade show in Chicago Ill. This trade show is presented to the flexographic printing industry and provides flexo printers the opportunity to view new manufacturing, technology and marketing trends in the flexo industry. TAG has two portfolio investments that own flexographic printing equipment: Inovar Packaging Group LLC and Wayne Trademark Printing & Packaging LLC.  www.inovarpkg.com
 
September 5, 2008 :
Dan Meader, CFA met with the CFA Society of Madison WI to discuss current dynamics in the Private Equity markets. Serving as a  member of the Board of Governors for the CFA Institute in a volunteer capacity, Meader also updated the Madison society on current issues facing the CFA Institute.  www.cfainstitute.org
 
September 1, 2008:
Inovar President Gary Cooper announces that Inovar Packaging Group LLC has successfully refinanced $2m of its debt, and will be expanding its manufacturing capabilities with a $1.5m investment in new packaging equipment in the fourth quarter of 2008. August 25, 2008:
The CFA Institute announces its new slate of Board of Governors for the coming year; Meader is chosen to serve as the Chair of the External Relations and Volunteer Involvement Committee for fiscal 2009. In his capacity as Chair of this Board sub-committee, Meader will also serve on the Executive Committee of the CFA Institute for the upcoming year.
 
August 25, 2008:
Meader visited Las Vegas NV to attend the apparel industry tradeshow ‘Magic’, the largest apparel tradeshow in the world. Serving as the Chairman of Wayne Trademark Printing & Packaging, Meader worked with Wayne’s senior management staff at the Company’s booth at the show, meeting with a number of apparel industry managers and print buyers. Based in High Point NC, Wayne provides printing and packaging services into the apparel industry.
 
August 15, 2008:
Former owner and concept founder Rich Hicks announced today the sale of the Tin Star restaurant concept to a group of investors led by Mike Rangel, a restaurant entrepreneur from San Antonio, TX. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Trinity Advisory Group represented Tin Star and Rich Hicks in the sale of the business
 
August 15, 2008:
Wayne Trademark Printing & packaging President Gary Burrow announces the opening of a new manufacturing facility in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Wayne opened the new facility at the request of one of its largest customers to provide printing and packaging products to apparel manufacturing plants located in Central America. The new facility will supplement the existing 100,000 SF Wayne facility currently located in High Point, NC. Wayne is a portfolio investment for TAG.
 
August 1, 2008:
TAG announced today that the broker dealer application of its affiliate TPEG Securities, LLC had been approved by the Securities Exchange Commission and FINRA. TPEG Securities, LLC will be providing best efforts capital underwriting capabilities to companies seeking growth capital from qualified investors.
 
July 28, 2008:
Meader and Chandra attended the World Market Center July Furniture show to visit with companies in the home furnishings industry about investment opportunities.  The show was well attended but activity in the industry appeared to be down due to economic factors.  Our impression was that attendance was reasonable but that buying activity by retailers was limited.  www.lasvegasmarket.com.

May 19, 2008:
TAG principals Sanjay Chandra CFA and Dan Meader CFA attended the CFA Institute’s annual meeting in Vancouver CA this week. Each year the CFA Institute draws over 1500 investment professionals from around the world to discuss current issues in the investment management industry. Over a 3 day period, leading investors provide education and insight into the capital markets, and help bring a global perspective to investment management industry.
 
May 17, 2008:
TAG announced today that it has been engaged by Barvista Homes, Inc to assist the company in the refinancing of its existing mortgage debt. Barvista Homes, Inc is a Colorado based home manufacturing company providing turnkey building systems to real estate markets throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
 
April 24, 2008:
Meader hosts a presentation of current issues facing the CFA Institute to the Board of Directors of the CFA Society of Richmond VA. Meader highlighted key issues in the investment management industry with the Board and discussed ways to improve the partnership between the Richmond CFA Society and the CFA Institute.
