Mr. Young was a vice president and general manager of MicroStrategy, Inc. a global leader and independent provider of business intelligence, performance management, and dashboard reporting solutions that enable organizations to make more informed business decisions.
Prior to that, Mr. Young was an area vice president at Cognos Corporation the leading provider of enterprise business intelligence solutions for executive dashboards, corporate performance management, budgeting and planning, and other analytic applications. Mr. Young helped establish Cognos as the recognized leader in the business intelligence market by providing executive leadership to various operations. Mr. Young grew his business from $ 3 million to $ 85 million over a 6 year period.
Mr. Young has most recently founded East River Capital focusing on strategic sales and marketing consulting to mid market companies.
